I am a data scientist at Capital One, based in McLean, VA. I am working to support integration of credit risk models and analytical processes following Capital One’s acquisition of Discover.
In 2026, I completed my Ph.D. in Computer Science at Georgia Tech, advised by Prof. John Stasko. My research centered on how large language models can support data science, particularly visual data analysis. My broader interests span data science, data visualization, and visual analytics, especially for geographic data. During my Ph.D., I also worked with collaborators at Sanida National Labs on designing visualizations to support electric grid operators.
Before Georgia Tech, I attended Duke University as an undergraduate student. I worked with professors Jun Yang and Sudeepa Roy on database projects such as HNRQ. I was also engaged in interdisciplinary research through the Bass Connections program at Duke. I worked in the MCAB Lab under the supervision of professor Gregory Samanez-Larkin.
